On Saturday, October 8, 2011 our dear friend, Beverley Hurley passed away. She had been
battling Ovarian Cancer for a little over a year. Beverley was devoted to her family, friends, church, the Bereaved Parents USA, Tampa Bay Chapter, and the Angel of Hope Memorial Garden, Tampa Bay. Her Bereaved Parent USA and Angel of Hope, Tampa Bay families will truly miss her. Those who knew and worked with Beverley over the years will certainly miss her encouraging spirit and her constant support. Through her hard work with these two organizations over the years she has left a wonderful legacy. We will forever be grateful to her as she has helped hundreds of people walk through their grief of losing a child throughout the years. It is because of her desire to host the BP National Gathering here in the Tampa Bay area for the past few years that we are planning to host it here in the summer of 2012. Please be patient with us as we are in the process of transitioning responsibilities and creating new positions of help. Together we will get through the loss of our dear friend and continue to help each other walk through the grief of losing our children. We will continue to work together and do everything for BP in memory of our children. We know this is what Beverley would have wanted.
